Although the project was cancelled in 2009 due to economic conditions, it was set to be the largest jet in the Cessna lineup. The Columbus was designed to fly non-stop over distances up to 4,000 nautical miles, making it perfect for transcontinental and transatlantic flights. It boasted a spacious cabin, designed to provide the highest level of comfort for up to 10 passengers. The Columbus was set to redefine the standards of luxury and performance in the business jet market.
